About Belgrade

BelgradeLocated at the confluence of the Sava and Danube, Belgrade is one of the oldest cities in Europe. Belgrade is the capital city of Serbian culture, education and science. Historical parts and buildings in Belgrade are the biggest city tourist attractions. They include Skadarlija, National Museum, National Theatre, Zemun, Nikola Pašić Square, Miloš's Konak, Princess Ljubica's Konak, Terazije, Students' Square, Kalemegdan, Knez Mihailova Street, National Assembly, the Cathedral of Saint Sava, Old Palace and other. Besides, there are many parks, monuments, museums, cafes, restaurants and shops on both sides of the Sava river. House of Flowers, parks, Ada Ciganlija, Topčider and Košutnjak located nearby are also popular.

The night life is one of the things that made Belgrade famous and it probably makes the strongest impression on visitors for the first time in Belgrade. The reason for this is primarily the spirit of Belgrade people and positive atmosphere which makes you feel like you are at home with friends.

We especially recommend restaurants with local cuisine, which specialities and gourmet food you have to try. They for sure won't leave you indifferent.
